  •  The Prez got a solid "B" from me (7+ / 0-)

    I'm a tough grader.

Keep your fingers crossed. Trapper's interview is in forty minutes. The job sounds awesome, at least from what he knows about it thus far. And, like I said yesterday, it would get him away from the hour-long commute to his completely dysfunctional current work environment. The new commute would be 15 minutes and would be subsidized. And it would involve for a firm that specializes in dealing with LGBT issues. Trifecta!

Busy day for him; he was out early to go to SF City College to buy books and check out what he needs to do to get his degree(s). And following the interview he's getting a full physical, just cuz, and hopefully a flu shot.

CHEERS to sun and warmer weather. It's still cold in SF but they promise highs in the middle to upper 60's by this weekend. I'm good with that.

JEERS to annoying conference calls that will take me away in a moment.

CHEERS to this morning's Presidential announcements regarding gun control.

CHEERS the fellow now tasked with delivering the Inaugural Invocation. Very progressive (and pro-LGBT-rights, Cuban-born) pastor of the Episcopal Church that sits just the other side of Lafayette Park from the White House. They should have thought of him first but I'm glad someone in the Inaugural Committee realized the kind of person they needed to spiff things up.
