    I expect that lots of folks get injured on the job and that could leave them far worse off than if they didn't have a job. I can't believe some of the crap that I've seen people doing that could put them at risk of injury.

    I have yet to see any power assisted pallet lifts. So you have pallets piled 8-9 feet high with older men and women pulling these things all around the store. Just go into a store late in the evening say after 10 pm and you'll see what I'm talking about.

    The only trouble with retirement is...I never get a day off!

      and only use non power lifts for some smaller loads.  a perfect set-up, no---but the person doing the work makes the choice.  Been there, done that.  Also, power jacks have been in some stores for years.

        I haven't seen them in my local store perhaps because it's one of the smaller stores.
