  •  Which one of those lights went on when D.B. Cooper (4+ / 0-)

lowered the aft exit stairs and jumped into the Oregon night?

... and how many alarms went off?

    Have you noticed?
    Politicians who promise LESS government
    only deliver BAD government.

Is a set of rectangular warning lights.

One of them says "Aft Air Stairs".

After that they modified the aircraft so the aft stairs could not be opened in flight.

The device was called the "D.B. Cooper vane".

If the pilot's good, see, I mean if he's reeeally sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low... oh you oughta see it sometime. It's a sight. A big plane like a '52... varrrooom! Its jet exhaust... frying chickens in the barnyard!
