    You seem to be addressing US citizenship.  I was addressing citizenship in the various states.  I have no reason to disagree with you about national citizenship rights.  Frankly, I know nothing about it.

    On the other hand, the individual states regulated their militias and thereby the right to bear arms.  The states were often less than exact in who was a citizen in their states.  Presumably, it was based on residence, and little more.  (But presumptions can be dangerous to understanding.)

    Can you cite anything for state citizenship?
