and you know goddamn well it ain't Yahoo Groups.

Did you mean you want to know the details of the surveys taken by the organizations quoted in the article -- members of the SEC, members of investment groups, etc? You'll have to write them to find out those details. Maybe they really are very very stupid and commissioned surveys of hobos and cartoon characters. And investors actually DO trust JPMorgan and that ilk.

      You believe that, eh?

Basically, my survey of you indicates you're just here to fart in a public place again, so I'll say "Adios" and await your diary on how real players in the financial establishment don't know how to take an opinion survey; nor hire people who do.

a member of the SEC; Barclay's Capital; a survey of risk-fund managers...

If you, the anonymous guy with no credentials whatsoever, want to assert that investors DO TRUST the TBTFs, go right ahead. It'll help people weigh your perspective in your future comments.

Meanwhile, write the authors, Gallup, the SEC, Barclay's... and see what they tell you. It won't be "oh we pulled this shit out of our ass."
