  •  I say let's agree with this choad (26+ / 0-)

and give every member of the NRA board and their families a 24 hour Secret Service detail, just like the President gets.

Let's put the same security restrictions on their movements, so that none of them can leave home except in a scheduled motorcade. Let's take away their personal smart phones, give them humorous code names, and throw them to the ground whenever a gun appears near them. Because, of course, the demands and dangers of the Presidency are no different from the demands and dangers of being Ted Nugent.

I must say, though, I am impressed with the use of "elitist" to mean "uppity." I mean, as the Most Powerful Person in the World, every American President is unavoidably a member of the world's elite, until s/he leaves office, anyway. But the suggestion here is that the dangers are no different for this President's family than for yours, that, in effect, this President's elite status is undeserved. I wonder why . . . ?

    •  All of these things which have been part (0+ / 0-)

of the Presidency since, I don't know when - speaking from teleprompters, Secret Service details, issuing Executive Orders, appointing "czars", raising the debt ceiling, those were all fine and dandy in the past. But Obama is President, so these are all bad now.

liberal bias = failure to validate or sufficiently flatter the conservative narrative on any given subject
