    Their dwindling public support leaves them no choice but to pander to the basest of their base. This ad will serve it's purpose in that it will generate more (false) indignation and reinforce the anger of their members. Probably generate a lot of letters to paid of politicians too.  Really, it's not all that much different than the outrageous stuff Rmoney said during the campaign.

      is to create pressure on Boehner to keep the assault weapons ban from getting to the House floor if it has a chance of passing with Democratic votes and those of a handful of Northeastern and West Coast Republicans.

      But this time hysterical teahadists won't look powerful. They'll appear desperate and pathetic.
