    also joined Cooper (D-TN), Peterson (D-MN), and Matheson (D-UT) in voting for Mulvaney's Amendment.  To me voting FOR the Mulvaney Amendment seems as damaging than voting AGAINST Sandy aid because it make cuts across the board without giving priority to certain programs/items that can be cut.  

    I suppose the they're all deficit hawks, which is not necessarily a bad thing.  But in Cooper's case, when you vote against something so simple and needed as Sandy relief and talk like a Republican, it becomes offensive to the party.  Also, if we were in the position to elect a Democratic speaker (Pelosi!) we would need that district's representative to be on board.  So I say primary him or give him a good primary scare, at least.

      but it's something I can forgive someone in Matheson's position (maybe even Peterson's) for voting for, as long as they vote for the final bill. Voting against the final bill is just sick.
