    My dad has had an angioplasty at 49, three stents and then a triple bypass in his 60's.  His brother had quadruple bypass at the age of 60.  High cholesterol and high blood pressure runs in the males on my dad's side of the family.

    And here I sit at the age of 53; with elevated blood pressure and high triglycerides.  I'm trying to bend the curve by eating healthy and exercising, but my genetic pond is not doing me any favors.

    Wishing you well in whatever the doctors decide is the proper course of action.  Continue to listen to your body.  It doesn't do a good job of keeping secrets in these types of things.
