... is in order for "Fair Use" and attribution purposes?

I haven't been here long enough to be considered a Kossack, does that mean that I'm just a sack?

I am a proud steelworker, family man and loving husband working hard for change in this great Country so that when I move on, I will know my children are all right.

    •  It's public statement, not a periodical article! (5+ / 0-)

It's also published at the local Columbia, SC non-partisan political blog, columbiacents.com.  There is no copyright notice, and I imagine that Rep. McLeod would be delighted that it is being republished here in its full, unedited form.  After all, Daily Kos readers could use an occasional reminder that there are intelligent, knowledgeable, and feisty progressive voices down south, too.

Having been a resident of Columbia and a SC state government employee for a of couple of years long ago, I don't expect SC to be at the head of the progressive parade, but the level of crazy that Nikki Haley achieves is remarkable even for SC.  I'm inspired by Mia McLeod's courage to challenge Gov. Haley in clear, straightforward language on the issues that are important to all Americans.
