I've seen the AN225 relatively up close (@ the Abbotsford Airshow in the early 90's) and that was big, but the H-4? Staggering comes to mind...

Thanks, Ojibwa, now I have a reason to go to McMinnville next time I'm in the Northwest.

Pearson in Vancouver, Washington (across the river from Portland; about 90 minutes from McMinnville) and Tillamook, Oregon.

From Pearson, and the traffic pattern was right over my apartment. I did get rather tired of hearing and watching the students do touch-and-goes, especially on the weekends when it seemed like you would see the same airplane every 10 minutes or so. :(

Thoughts of acquiring at least a 20mm AA cannon or quad .50's did go through my head from time to time. :)

Of course, that was well before the museum got really going, as I was there from late '94 to mid '98.
