  •  It's the annual Front Range January Warm Spell! (11+ / 0-)

At which time everyone flocks to Red Rocks & heads for the foothills.  Since there's NO SNOW AT ALL, the trails are nice & depressingly dry.

We're getting a two weeker this year, bonus.  Fine with me, as January is historically a dry month, so it might as well be warm.  But can we please reset the storm track across the Southwest in February/March/April/May/June/July?  That's not asking too much, is it?

Deep cold for the Midwest & parts of the Northeast this coming week, & colder temps return to the West the week after this coming one, so enjoy that weather now.

I had planned to be, at this time, doing improvements to a community garden as part of the Nat'l Day Of Service, but on Thursday I somehow made the acquaintance of olecranon bursitis, aka tennis elbow, so no shovel labor/garden-related activity for me this fine morning as I rest the arm for a return to work.  Grrrr.
