    People were shocked by Bush's lack of response as Katrina was on its way. There was general lack of preparedness, and having appointed "Heck of a job Brownie", who had no qualifications at all, to run FEMA was a negative.

    I don't think the right-wing media's response - attacking the victims of the hurricane - helped either. It may have appealed to the GOP base, but turned a lot of people off.

    With Sandy, we had a president who took disaster preparedness seriously, understood it, and responded properly. No air guitar for Obama.
