  •  So, "citizen" has been dropped for "suspect" (14+ / 0-)

    As in, "You can't do that, I'm an American Suspect." Or, "As an American Suspect I demand a right to a trial." (Oh wait, we can't say that anymore, can we?)

    Now that these words are out in the public, along with previous releases of words the various other secret police are looking for...

    ...how long before someone, a mysterious someone, in authority decides that the very absence of the trigger words (oops!) is an indication you might be a particularly clever terrorist. So gotta include any word at all in the sweeps.

    The most important thing, as NYC transit announcements make clear several times a ride, is that you be afraid, very afraid.

    Stalin, Goebbles, and Stasi are all weeping in hell from envy of our current monitoring practices.


    Markos! Not only are the Gates Not Crashed, they've fallen on us. Actual Representatives are what we urgently need, because we have almost none.
