  •  I'd bet that the 2011 numbers (8+ / 0-)

may change that a bit.  2012's will DEFINITELY change that.

I personally know a LOT of new gun owners since 2010, as I am one.

Yeah, I don't put a lot of stock into a polling agency that settled a federal whistle blower case out of court.

    •  Personally, whenever a polling agency (3+ / 0-)

contacts me, I completely fuck with them.

For example, I am mildly anti-gun (if you dispute that, please read my 32,000 plus post here at DailyKos but yet reported owing 13 firearms (an ironically unlucky number  that the telophonic interviewer didn't pick up on) the last time I was interrogated on this subject (which was in mid -2009 if memory serves, but whatever, I'm not sure if people have become more accurate since then . . .)

      •  Honestly, I totally respect (8+ / 0-)

someone who chooses to not own guns.  The only folks I have troubles with are the ones who tell me I can't despite never having made any poor choices that would mean separation from my right to do so.

Actions such as yours are why I don't trust poll numbers either.  And the reason is I like to mess with them, too.  ;)
