the elders and two 20 somethings who left/got kicked out. The elders are certainly able to portray themselves as sincere and committed.

gas28man, you bring up an interesting angle to the legal game. Probably know most of this, I just want to spread more of the dirt. Because Phelps was involved in a particularly ugly suit, resulting in disbarment  [Wiki]

On July 20, 1979, Phelps was permanently disbarred from practicing law in the state of Kansas, though he continued to practice in Federal courts.
In 1985, nine Federal judges filed a disciplinary complaint against Phelps and five of his children, alleging false accusations against the judges. In 1989, the complaint was settled; Phelps agreed to stop practicing law in Federal court permanently, and two of his children were suspended for periods of six months and one year.
They started the fag thing in the late 80's. Sounds like they have issues with the court system that are assuaged by taking up court time and being disrespectful to the judges. And making money doing it.

The family life section is no surprise: 2 sons report physical abuse to the family during childhood. That'll raise your hate levels plenty. Just have to find a substitute to foist it on.

Now hold on to your cookies cuz this will really make you want to hurl 'em.

Phelps, founder of the Phelps Chartered law firm, and a former civil rights activist. A member of the Democratic Party, he has occasionally run for political office. In the election for United States Senator for Kansas in 1992, he received 49,416 votes (30.8%) in the Democratic primary,
I lived in Kansas, my family roots are in KS and MO. I still have bunches of first and second cousins from Lawrence to Springfield. I'm a Wildcat.

What's the matter with Kansas?  Water? Air trails?

    Ok, I'm going to bed.
