    4. People who actually would like to have guns banned but have given-up, which is a shame, because then their arguments are not aired, which would provide positive pressure to sway public opinion in their direction and counter-balance those on the opposite side that show no signs of bending at all.

    5. Self-professed members of the NRA, whether or not they self-identify as RTKBAs (some are not because they are more moderate).  Why they continue to support the NRA even when they complain about the extreme positions taken I cannot explain since their membership dues promote the message, but I think there are a fair number of NRA members here. Do we need a new term? "NRAinos"?

    6. NRA trolls/sock-puppets. This group is defined by:

    a. Recently joined Dkos, some after Sandy Hook.
    b. Comments and/or diaries focused exclusively on this topic.
    c. NRA talking points recited ad nausia (which is certainly their privilege as long as they are members in good standing).

bit but those are easily identifiable and usually they wind up bojo'ed anyway.

I will admit that I don't have quite as good of an idea of the makeup of RASA(Repeal of Amend the Second Amendment) as I do of the RKBA.   I have seen what seems to be a minority of the group that wants a total ban or something very close to it.   I have seen others that want to amend the 2nd so that their interpretation of it is followed by the courts.   That would give our government greater flexibility in how it regulates guns so that our laws could be more like Canada's or Australia's rather than Japan or the UK(Japan has has gun restrictions for three centuries and the UK has unarmed police and most Brittons don't own a gun).   I will try to follow RASA more closely so I can better say what the group's consensus is.

Most NRA members don't agree with the NRA leadership so I didn't see a need to separate out the self-professed NRA members from the RKBA especially when most NRA members support universal background checks.   I will keep that mind if I do a followup though.

Washington and Colorado said that you've got to legalize it. Hope the DOJ respects that.
