  •  What percentage will admit to "personal right" if (0+ / 0-)

    the other choice is "unlimited personal right", and you can only choose one? The first of those two phrases is far more narrow than the second, and this difference, seems to me, to be the line that far, far too many gun owners are simply unwilling to budge from. And, for those who won't, there really is no room for discussion.

    There can be no protection locally if we're content to ignore the fact that there are no controls globally.
