    Nice to see that Mike Tate finally got his head out of the sand...perhaps Lori Compas showing up out of nowhere to get a recall petition on Scott Fitzgerald taught him a lesson.

      is laughable compared to the opposition. Chump change, really. So shmuelman's comment is still right on the mark - the national party needs to step up the game and help the locals. This is the only way to win - multiple levels and robust organizing.

      Our little groups, as with most of the recall grassroots, are entirely self-funded. On one hand, I wouldn't want OLB to be beholden to larger institutions. On the other hand, I think of what we could do with some "no strings attached" funding!
