    that doesn't represent you?  There is no win possible.  But then I come from where you can both move the party left AND win elections.  I think more people should have the confidence to not believe that is impossible.

      Which is the point of this yet-another-third-party-dream diary.

      Want a multi-party political system? You have two choices:

      1) Trigger a Constitutional Convention. Get a new Constitution in to replace the existing system of government, because the existing Constitution sets up rules that funnel events towards a two-party system.

      2) move to a different country.

      Absent 1 or 2, talk about a 3rd party is nothing more than a bunch of wishful thinking.

        Would working toward triggering a Constitutional Convention accomplish more than working to establish a new third party in the political landscape?
