  •  These people are just really irresponsible (6+ / 0-)

    It's really just ridiculous.

    •  No, they are dangerous (14+ / 0-)

Telling people that the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES has issued executive orders to come take away their freedom is dangerous.  Because if the people he is writing to really believe what he is saying and why wouldn't they, after all he is the MINORITY LEADER OF THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES not some moronic talk show host, then these folks are liable to react like  someone was trying to take their freedom.

And then he went one step further, spelling out the 23 different Executive Orders he will take to get your guns.
That is a pretty serious threat if you are one of these gun nuts who equates their freedom (and who knows what else) with their gun.  It is irresponsible, it is dangerous, it is shouting fire in a crowded theater.   We should all demand a response from our leaders and the MSM.  This kind of behavior has to stop.  It will lead to really bad things if it isn't.

      •  Of course, that is a libel. (0+ / 0-)

        What else?

"Have you left no sense of decency, sir, at long last?" Army Attorney to Sen. McCarthy, 1954. "We have done nothing to be ashamed of. We have nothing to apologize for." NRA 12/14/2012.

      •  I think (0+ / 0-)

you are absolutely correct---and I shudder to think of the consequences of this kind of rabble rousing.

it should be considered criminally irresponsible to propagandize the easily provoked.

The Onion says----scholars have discovered---the Mayan word for "Apocalypse" in fact---translates more accurately as: "Time of pale obese gun monsters."
