This is now. Will you run again?
Slapping Gabby Giffords might not have been the most sensitive action in the wake.

If I ran this circus, things would be DIFFERENT!

      Not a chance ...

We need a fresh face in 2014: it's inconceivable that no one will step forward this time around. Though the local yahoos have been capable of mischief against Democratic candidates in the past ... torn up front lawns, missing yard signs ... Monroe is not the Wild Red West, and I have no desire to play Gary Cooper again.

I was privileged to be invited to the White House during the 2011 holiday season, and it was a further privilege to be on the ballot with the President, as well as Chris Murphy and Jim Himes, but I've had enough of local politics.

With a little help from friends of Newtown who live outside our district, I'm confident we have a decent chance in 2014 to rid ourselves of our A+ NRA embarrassment.

I'm over in the other corner of the state, but I know people in Monroe and Bethel. I can understand that running there would be tough. that's one of the Conservative hot spots in the state. Danbury seemed like it was trying to become part of Arizona a few years ago.
Even if you have to back a moderate Republican (if such a beast still exists) it would be better than your current nit wit.
