this tip jar is still visible. Not everything you say is completely wrong, but this isn't something people here want to hear right now. And your screen name isn't all that helpful, either. From one proRKBA to another: just sayin'.

gun enthusiasm seems sufficient to garner support.

It is beyond my comprehension why someone who organizes a militia - with the express intent to resist law enforcement by force, who openly discusses attacking US military facilities - manages to assemble an audience here on Daily Kos.

12 times, including one which was slammed by Meteor Blades for using debunked RW slogans, and he has 100 tips for comments...

The shepherd's hook should have come out after the first diary...

He has other web sites beyond the one which aeou linked...on Google, follow the clues in his profile and they are not hard to find...

      •  Here's a sampling of his thoughts (5+ / 0-)

        from his blog:

The underlying cancer eating the American Soul is Liberalism.  But for your Liberal neighbors, Liberal politicians would never be elected to office.

It is not sufficient to simply defeat Liberal politicians at the polls.  Liberalism must be defeated in our society and Liberals must be marginalized, or this disease will kill the republic.

Every patriotic business owner should immediately fire every Liberal on staff and hire an employee who respects the nation and our Constitution.  Why should any business owner suffer an employee who will simply vote for politicians who further ruin the company?!

The Liberals in your community must be ostracized and denied entry into your social circle.  These stupid people are responsible for the insanity that affects everything from your property taxes to the curriculum taught to your children.  Why would you break bread with them, when they are the reason your bread costs too much?  Why would any parent permit them access to their children, when they are responsible for ruining your child's future?

        •  Which blog is that? (2+ / 0-)

        •  That's pretty tame for that site. (0+ / 0-)
I find it necessary to remind people one more time why the Patriot is morally safe when engaging the Blue "voter" or "Non-Combatant".

The Blue voter is not merely exercising a "...legitimate difference of political opinion..."

The Blue voter is a Marxist working to overthrow the republic, to overthrow by force the US Constitution, advocating that Government take the fruits of your labor, the bread from the mouths of your children, by force.  Yes, by force, because if the Blue voter's guy gets into office, as we have all seen, they'll send men and women with badges and guns to enforce the Blue voter's wish to overthrow the Constitution.

          That is Treason.

Treason is the only crime articulated in the Constitution.

Article III Section III: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason...

If using the muzzle of a firearm is not levying war, I sure as hell need remedial English.

The Blue voter is an active Traitor seeking the violent overthrow of the Constitution that most of us have taken an oath to support and defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

That Treason is most assuredly a direct and violent infringement upon my Rightful Liberty, and I am morally, by Natural Right, entitled to defend my Rightful Liberty.

There is no Miranda in War.

When you find yourself face-to-face with an Enemy of Liberty in a time of war, when there exists an existential threat to the republic, you do NOT need permission from your local Prosecutor to defend your country.  You want to live up to the "Testimony of two witnesses" aspect of the Article, get a buddy and go watch the same people.  You and he satisfy the threshold.

The concept that an American, a member of We the People, is not empowered by our Framers to be the final arbiter of what is, and is not, Constitutional, the concept that says a Patriot must ASK GOVERNMENT FOR PERMISSION to defend the Constitution is absurdity defined.

In summary: The Blue Voter and EVERY f'n person facilitating the overthrow of the Constitution and the legitimate republic of the United States, by force of violence, and that violence may morally be met with the ultimate violence, for the US Congress, per the Constitution, has deemed one of the penalties for Treason is Death.

We had a nation full of survivalist asshats when the first Red Dawn movies came out.
I didn't play well with others then, and now that the re-incarnation of Red Dawn is in the theaters, I can dust off my spiffy social skills and piss-off another generation of survivalist asshats.

        Wheeee...

Not everything you say is completely wrong, but this isn't something people here want to hear right now
At the same time, there are things that may not be what many want to hear, but they still need to be said.  Not all of Obama's proposals are reasonable.  Most are, but not all.  Of course if they don't impact you in any way and only affect others, well then obviously they sound reasonable.

In many ways the NRA is the UL of the gun industry.  Like UL it is a business looking out for it's interests too, but it there is a lot of knowledge and expertise wrapped up in it.  Just about every instructor and trainer I've come across teaches from NRA approved courses which provides a certain degree of standardization that would otherwise be missing.

but do you think the message is getting across the way the diarist intends?

Look at this comment.  That says a great deal.

at all, or in a very limited way only.  It reminds me of watching this youtube video taken from a news program where this Philly PA city councilman was damning the NRA for the gang and drug violence.  While I understood his anger, it seemed very misplaced to me.  Likewise, a lot of what I am hearing from people in many of these diaries is directed at the wrong targets.  The same thing is also going on in conservative circles.

To me, the NRA is a congressional lobbying firm, not a PR firm.   I am finding myself torn between conflicting parties.  I can't stand 90% of the Conservative platform but I will be damned if I stand by and let the Liberals take away my rights to own an AR15 if I so choose.

As for training, the numbers are growing for a liberal slant.

The old days of NRA being a club of Sportsmanship, and intelligent training is long gone.

Thank you for the link.  I have found that unless a gun site is exceptionally moderated, I can't stand to hang around there very long because I can't stand the baggage that comes with most of them.
