    nothing in today's world. There are now golf heroes, football heroes, war heroes and so forth. Christ I saw an article where a child was run over on the way to buy stuff for his mom. He was called a hero.

    In my mind there are very, very few heroes in the classic sense. Neither McCain nor Kerry are. I am not.

    The only true war heroes are those who died. The rest of us did what we had to in order to survive. Period. Full stop.
