    opportunity of a crime they can shoot their way out of, where they can shoot a person, even kill someone...... that is how some of them seem to me.

    Your statement is exactly what bothers me so so much, that split second decision, and the mentality that anyone committing a robbery-- perhaps merely a "trespasser" going to a neighbor's home, wanting to borrow a cup of sugar!--- deserves to DIE on the spot! Because they had the temerity of walking on a neighbor's property in friendly expectation of a good deed.

    Or, even if someone was going to rob you of something, he or she does not deserve the death penalty because you love guns and don't value human life.
