  •  I'm being attacked but let me take this call first (14+ / 0-)

Yes, Ron Johnson, who wouldn't take a phone call and drop what they are doing while they are being attacked?  I will just pick up my cell phone and drop my guns so I can take this call.

I have to wonder if Johnson watches sports.  There are trained officials on the field of play who are just feet away from the action and yet they still make wrong calls.  There are times when they have to review videos to make sure they made the right call.  So what makes Johnson think that a phone call happening at the time of an attack thousands of miles away from the USA is all that is needed to clear things up?  Even today, they are still reviewing what happened.

Maybe Johnson needs to talk to the police investigating the shooting at Sandy Hook.  There were hours before they knew what had happened and they are still investigating the incident.  Parents waited hours to hear of the fate of their children.  A simple phone call wouldn't stop the assault or save the 26 innocent lives lost there.

The whole telephone thing is based on logic that goes sort of like this:

Now that you know the GOP has once again wasted the country's time, treasure, and international reputation by, to put it charitably, making a mountain out of a molehill, shouldn't you have then made a simple telephone call during the battle in order to prevent us Republicans from making asses out of ourselves?
This whole thing is preposterous as you point out so well.

Clinton's background and responsibility. Her experience?

In July of 1979, Ron and Jane moved to Oshkosh to start a business with Jane’s brother. The company -PACUR- began producing plastic sheet for packaging and printing applications. Ron has been building the same business for the last 31 years. From operating the equipment, to keeping the company books, and selling its products, Ron has been involved in every function of the business. It is this body of experience and private sector perspective that he now brings to the Senate.
The sucker brings thirty-one years worth of experience of every aspect of bookkeeping and plastic sheet making in Oshkosh to the table.

      Oh wow.

Marry well and that makes up for being born with a chipmunk brain.

        •  Ron Johnson dropped out of business school (1+ / 0-)

Yes, Ron Johnson never finished business school because his millionaire father-in-law set him up in business with his brother-in-law.  Johnson didn't build that, he really, really didn't build that.  Also note that his father-in-law was his first customer and still is the main customer of the business.
