If you are involved in many sorts of crime, they;ll take your car.

    That's beside the point.

The 'gov'ts gonna take my guns' is not something I thinks gonna happen. Those who dream of a gun ban will be frustrated and those who live in fear of it will have wasted much energy on this faulty notion.

I think many aspects of buying and owning will be tightened up - better security on that rifle MAY have prevented 12/14 (couldn't have hurt) - and some styles of weapons or pieces of weapons complicating the ownership of them, but most guns will remain where they are.

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.

to impound a car if it isn't registered.  But yes, they could impound it, particularly if I did something stupid with it.  I don't, and they don't.  I think you can expand that concept to guns...registration of them is pretty small potatoes, unless someone gets stupid with it.

When banjos are outlawed, only outlaws will have banjos.
