the only thing the Right understands is the (political) bloody nose. They do what they do until it (politically) hurts too much to continue.

And, when they look at Progressivism, Non-conservatism, whatever you want to call the great masses outside of their ranks, they expect us to sit down and negotiate our posiitions away while they give up nothing.

And they are getting worse and worse as time passes, not better.

I need to be a better pro-choice supporter. I need to be louder in defense of women's rights and healthcare choices. I need to do more.

Those pixelated faces make me feel like a failure.

    And they should.

The stakes are literally, black people can't vote freely, and women have to ask a wingnut permission to control their own bodies, and poor, elderly, and sick people die untreated if the Right keeps on getting to face people who are hobbled with burdens of concerns they wouldn't adopt in the policy debate reverse in a million years.

I find the older I get, the more hardline I get with dealing with the Right on issue after issue because there is no bottom to Movement Conservatism.

I watched Hilary Clinton get heckled and harassed for doing her job today on C-Span, and I was sick to my stomach that in 2012 we are still dealing with Arkansas Project level shit from the Right.

They should be (politically) afraid to be the way they are.

It's the only way things are going to change, and the shit that keeps breaking our hearts will stop.

Randall Terry should be in pixelation, not an abortion provider. Instead, their are conservative media celebrities, and doctors live in fear for their lives.

      ... not an abortion provider."

I wish I had a thousand recs to give you.

Many years ago, a friend of mine was playing drums at a Jesus festival for an old friend of his who plays Christian music. They were in their trailer when a man came in to talk to my friend's friend. They clearly knew each other pretty well. But my friend said that he felt a darkness fall over the space and he sensed the presence of evil.

After the man left, he asked his friend, "Who was that 'Randy' you were talking to?"

      I'm sure you can guess.

right fuckin' on.  If I had to make the choice to have an abortion, I don't know what I'd do.  But I don't want to wring my hands because other people are making a choice I'm personally unsure of.  Fuck this rare crap, as you said.  Abortion needs to be safe and legal and as many women who want it can have it as many times as they like.  Because I feel like I'm setting women back when I imply the antis have some sort of moral ground, and playing into slut shaming.
