  •  I do not know how you can do this-- (5+ / 0-)

put all this stuff together on the fly, so to speak.

Stupendous! That's all I can say.

Well, that's not entirely true.  I can say more.

As usual, the Cons' lingo is not what most people understand.
You see, in their lingo, "takers" is short for "people who take orders," like, you know, the folks behind the counter at MacDonald's, and "makers" is clearly short for "the people who make you do things."
"makers" and "takers" are euphemisms for the coercers and the coerced. See, it all makes sense, once you have the right code.

agrees that "there's no free lunch" and nobody's handing money out, it's hard not to grovel for crumbs and do what the guy with the keys to the larder wants.
The exclusive use of our natural resources, which is what private property rights guarantees, is a great notion, except for the fact that somebody forgot to insist that this exclusive use comes with the expectation that the fruits will be shared--indeed that there's an obligation to share.
Obligation. That's what the opportunity folk in the ownership society prefer to forget.
