    this much time on. I can see ESPN spending some time on it but major  networks are getting in on this too and spending too much on a nonstory...especially as no crime was committted. Fake girlfriend never tried to get money from the athlete or college or anything else like that. It was all one huge prank but no crime was committed, I do not think...unless people raised money for the girls family after her supposed death but I do not think that happened either. All it did was garner a lot of sympathy and cards for the athlete grieving and so on.

      time on this stupidity, they would be spending time on some other useless bit of information, perhaps one of the Kardashian train wrecks.
