    Man, if you believe what you wrote, have I got some lovely beachfront property outside of Tucson that I want to sell you.  Sight-unseen, of course.

    Nothing has changed.  The 'pubs will still be able to force a super-majority vote on anything and everything and there is absolutely no reason to believe, based on their past conduct, that they won't want to use that tactic to kill legislation, appointments, treaties; you name it.  Harry Reid, by caving, just guaranteed that this Congress will be as dysfunctional as the last one was and it looks like Justice Ginsburg is going to have to stay on the Court for another two years.  There's no chance in hell of replacing her with anyone decent.
