    They are worthwhile.

    I'm less sure about anything much having really changed though ... there is the point David Waldman made, but it's not much comfort

    He reminded us that it took 22 years to get the three fourths requirement down to three fifths. That is, 67 down to 60

    So I guess it's progress, but I don't expect much of the obstructionism to stop.

    I hope that the quality of debate will improve,
    but I fear we will remain Democrats.
