  •  Murdoch just shut his online venture down (4+ / 0-)

    didn't he?

The name "rare" is far too esoteric for their audience.

They'd be better off with "meat" or "guts", I think.

Anyway, I guess the "most valuable customer segments" representing probably about 10,000 people at most (my guesstimate) who both know how to read and own a computing device that they know how to connect to the internets need somewhere to go.

But I'm not sure why they aren't just going to FoxNews' website for the biased content they seek.  Maybe they need a mix of Gucci style stories AND political stories like reporting on President Romney's Inauguration - (NO! he did NOT lose!  He is too president now!)  The later Fox would run, but the former would be too high-end for the average Fox viewer, probably.

Really, the best thing for this audience would probably be for them to plan to move to GlennBeckistan where all the fictional fairy tales of conservatism will apparently come true in Disney-like fashion.  I'm sure he'd agree to allowing a Gucci store to open up in his "land".
