…is a disaster ready to give a 535-0 electoral college landslide to a Republican who won the popular vote 50.5%-49.5%, and to get an early concession from a Democratic candidate who actually won the election.

    •  Wait, how would a Democrat who lost the popular (0+ / 0-)

They tortured people to get false confessions to fraudulently justify our invading Iraq.

      •  It's how the votes are counted… (0+ / 0-)

On the Wednesday after the election the popular vote looked like this:
        Obama 58,720,700 (50.1%)
        Romney 56,145,950 (48.4%)

When all the votes were certified after Christmas the popular vote ended up like this:
        Obama 65,899,557 (51.06%)
        Romney 60,931,959 (47.21%)

Obama ended up gaining almost 3 million votes on Romney after the elections. Now imagine the consequences if on election night the GOP candidate started out with a small lead, but lost it over the next six weeks as states slowly counted their votes.
