  •  AND limit the amount of time... (17+ / 0-)

... campaigning to roughly 90 days before election day.... from the DNC & RNC forward to election day.  Just think of how much money could be saved by that one action alone!

These idiotic two+++ -year political campaigns with unimportant "issues" giving the poli-pundits & some bloggers the vapors which cause them to clutch their pearls and run for the fainting couch on a weekly or biweekly basis gets exceedingly old exceedingly fast.  Boredom and burn-out take over, and by the time election day rolls around one is not even in a mood to go vote.  I'm convinced that's part of the reason some people stay home: exhaustion & boredom because of the hysterical campaign rhetoric two+ years before election day.

... or political party to corporations and corporations passing money to other corporations....

Isn't that a lot like money laundering?

happening in our country every day.

Illegal funds have to stay in circulation to have any value.

If the US-DOJ was staffed to the level needed to do the job, I'm sure the results would be fascinating !!

          •  DoJ would have to... (0+ / 0-)

... also get rid of the Bushista appointees who were put on as salaried employees in DoJ just shortly before the Bushistas left office.  Remember when Ted Stevens (AK) was about to be brought up on charges?  "An employee" in DoJ mishandled or lost the evidence against him so they couldn't bring the charges.  I'd bet a whole quarter that the person who misplaced/lost the evidence did so under direct orders from the Bushistas.  Stevens is dead now so nothing can be done about holding him accountable any longer, but that whole situation stank of corruption.

Of course, it would also help if both Obama and Holder actually did something about firing the Bushistas, and held the Bushistas accountable for their lies and war crimes..., which is never going to happen now that Obama has the same illegal powers as Dumbya took it upon himself to use (including that "kill list")..., without Congress stepping in to hold him and Dickie accountable for their lies and war crimes.

            The corruption... stinks....
