    ...half million people employed by Private Health Insurance - Big or otherwise - most could easily be absorbed into a Single Payer system as care quality and continuity monitors: reviewing cases of the acutely ill and those burdened with long term or lifetime conditions requiring maintenance medication and therapies, making certain that "best medical practice" is used as often as possible in their treatments.

    It is only a relative handful of "corner office" types - probably fewer than 5,000 people - who would probably not be "comparably compensated as previously accustomed" by a Single Payer system, and frankly their "skill sets" are better kept outside of the Medical sector.

    •  Exactly -- the mid-level and low-level folks (4+ / 0-)

      would get much better benefits and salaries working for the government than corporate CEOs who push them onto crappy 401Ks and high-deductible insurance plans. The CEOs and executives are the folks who would need to live off of their millions for a bit..unemployed.
