  •  The first 30 minutes is all about torture. (4+ / 0-)

The raid on the compound was anticlimatic and could have been omitted from the movie. There are tv specials(Discovery Channel, History Channel) that did a better job portraying the preparation and execution of the raid than what was shown in ZDT.

in the USA is totally pro-torture.

It's rather an uphill battle to go against that.   But it's sad that MM has opted to be part of the problem in this particular situation.

The "Average Joe" around where I live definitely does NOT approve of torture- especially those who served.

torture or at least semi-pro-torture thanks to zero dark thirty.  Perhaps Michael Moore could speak to Jon about that then?  After all, if even Jon Stewart can come around to a "balanced approach to torture" (god, how I wish that was snark) what do you think the average person will get from it?

I saw the movie, and never came close to Sullivan's opinion.
Weird.  Just shows how people are quite different.

"Privatize to Profitize" explains every single Republican economic, social and governing philosophy. Take every taxpayer dollar from defense, education, health care, public lands, retirement - privatize it, and profit from it.
