    stone ground wheat and white wheat. The plant itself has been compromised- and so has anyone who has eaten "wheat" in the past 45 or so years.

    Scary stuff. I stopped eating wheat two years ago as an experiment to reducing my asthma responses- it worked, as well as lowering my anxiety, removing acid reflux, brain fog, and hives on my chest. And then I read this book in August 2011, and well, well, well, where do we start? I believe that we need to get back to "heritage" or historical wheat before we see real improvements in diabetes, and inflammatory diseases.
