    On the one hand, I can understand why some would embrace the moral position that saving the planet trumps non-violence, especially since the non-violence that is being used to today is so absurdly ineffective, given the size of the resistance and the power of the opposition. So, they assume, the only solution for an over-matched resistance -- over-matched because too many are complacent and/or distracted (i.e., unengaged) -- are the tactics of all committed groups in this position: terrorism.

    On the other, I personally can't go there. I mean, I can see civil disobedience, direct action and mass protest...I just can't go with physical violence for moral reasons.
