  •  About those pills for men . . . (8+ / 0-)

Every time I see a commercial on TV for pills to “cure” a man’s ED or testosterone pills to increase a man’s sexual libido, I ask myself - Where are the commercials for pills for women?  You know, pills like birth control pills. And, where are the commercials for condoms?  And where are the commercials for other forms of birth control.

I don’t have an answer to these questions.  Perhaps it is the male dominated corporate media.  But the one-sidedness of what I see on TV seems very skewed to the male only without any consideration given to the female.

    •  The problem for women is very real - ask any (0+ / 0-)

family practice doctor or OB/GYN. You don't see anything advertised yet because nothing anywhere as nearly effective has been found yet.

Cialis and its ilk are of dubious utility though. They are very expensive ($10-15 a pop) and over half the prescriptions for them are not re-filled, which is a practical assessment of their value to their users.

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary? . . . and respect the dignity of every human being.

for men to have sex, but not women.  Besides, didn't you know, ED/Low-T is a medical condition whereas pregnancy is not!
