    that minimizes it to a couple of times a year? I don't know if I'd do anything to stop it entirely, what's the ovarian cyst risk on that? I'd have to REALLY look into it. But the shot birth control, if she'll tolerate it, makes it like every 3 or 4 months. However, if she's a routine based child and if you're worried she won't remember about it in that long a gap, it may be worth it to let it go and let it become part of her routine. In my experience, they CAN adjust to new things, it just takes a while, but it's better if it's in a routine rather than once in a blue moon, you know? If she adjusts and doesn't freak out every time, I don't think I'd take the risks with stopping it completely.
