    graduation.

    He had spoken the year before and before and brought the University at Buffalo flag aboard Challenger

     After his death, students nailed a sign reading Jarvis Hall to the building formerly known as "Engineering East". The name was made official in a 1987 dedication ceremony.

    They day after the accident renowned Professor Irving Shames bagged his planned lesson and lectured students for an hour and a half about ethics in Engineering. He correctly predicted that someone somewhere along the line didn't listen to the Engineers.
