in Econ from Koch Brothers University (aka "Kennesaw State"), and after considerable debate and discussion, I have learned several things loud and clear:  the economics of the ruling / investing class IS Economics, full-stop;  there ARE NO ground-level realities - including those that manifest in the playing out of the 'rules for the rich - that shape or illuminate economics in theory OR practice, AT ALL, ever;  and it's the Austrian School's disconnect from reality THAT PROVES THEIR FAT-CAT FANTASIES ARE TRUE.

The 'poor' in this realm aren't poor, they're WASTEFUL - they should spend less on dinners out and fancy new gadgets, and save their money, and then they'd be somebody & they could stop "complaining"...there are NO systemic effects, there's just individuals who plan badly...and there are NO circumstances beyond one's control (yeah, those African's shoulda known better than to be sleeping in their homes when the slavers came - they had no-one to blame but themselves.  After all, the slaver's just a small businessman trying to get ahead, so no fault there).

After many attempts, I had to give it (and him) up as a lost cause, jim and his Manchurian Classmates:  they are the precisely-molded instruments required by the New Slavers, and they will be well-paid for their work.

Right up until their work is done, at which point so are they (silly rabbit! 'final solution' means NO LOOSE ENDS).

I'm certain the other New Slaves will welcome them warmly once they know they have CELEBRITIES in their midst.

Boot-heel, meet face.  Boot-heel, meet face.  Boot-heel, meet face....  It's enough to make one support the second amendment, I tell ya

.. of the time I was visiting my brother several states away a few months after my first husband died at the age of 29, before we had been able to start our planned family.

We went to a party some married friends of his were having, and their home was in a truly optimal location vis a vis schools, parks, etc.

I commented to this married mother of two healthy children how happy I was for her -- I think I said something like, "How lucky it all came together so nicely -- I'm so happy for you."

She looked at me as if I was somewhat dim-witted and explained, "Luck had nothing to do with it: we planned it this way."

She said this despite my brother having told her I was a recent widow.  She honestly had no idea how fortunate she really was.
