    the enthusiasm with. I wouldn't expect you to lose all of them but wouldn't be all surprised to see a handful over time decide that the slow and easy way of doing little and avoiding "radical" change is the way to go.

    Reading through the comments I also note and highlight the one above that points out which senators have never been in the minority as well. That can make a real difference too.

    I think the key point for people like us on the outside though is that the pressure (and support) for reform has to be a constant thing. We can't expect to elect "a" reformer to a body like this and expect that things will magically get done from then on. They need to be part of a group of reformers and they need to know they have both strong support and pressure from the outside to stay focused on reform.
