    I use it in my tea.  Trader Joe's has a reasonably priced agave but now Whole Foods has it in bulk.  I love that section where you pick out a container and get some agave or honey or other things.  I just love that store but it's so expensive.

    It reminds me of aloe (in the way it looks).

      There are about 200 species, and I'll post another tomorrow.  The one above is better known as century plant.  They're not actually close to aloes, though the general similarity of appearance is apparent, and one agave variety is even known as American aloe.

      As for Whole Foods, I don't frequent them after learning of the CEO's politics and labor practices.  Just my little war.  No slight to anyone who does use them.
