      I mean, really, your "answer" is to do nothing because people get let off the some times.  What about all the folks who didn't get let off the hook?

        during the savings and loan debacle weren't the big CEO Keating types that people want perp walked out of corporate HQs.

        I'm not saying there shouldn't be anything done, i'm saying this constant demand to see CEOs jailed for some vague "they must have been doing something illegal because I know they were doing something wrong" isn't properly directed.

          and egregiously wrong and demonstrably harmful with multitudes of victims is just never to be seen as illegal.....well, then there is a problem with the law.

          The phrase "There oughta be a law" comes to mind.  When there is no sense at all of justice or right in the actions of established law then there oughta be some officers of the law rode outta town.
