    is the little-known power that juries have to acquit a defendant even they believe the defendant did violate the law.

    In most cases, nullification is never an issue.  But this would have been a good case to send a message to the prosecutor that these kinds of  cases shouldn't even be prosecuted.

    Keep this in mind in case you are ever called for jury duty.
