Are there any websites that allow people to publish diaries and make comments, but have no moderation policy and never ban anyone?  I sure would like to find one.

Only guest bloggers write columns on the weekends, but the threads are a free for all.  There are only four words that are blocked by filters, and as far as I know, the only person ever banned was because of outing the real world identity of another poster.  In short, Professor Turley has a wonderful sense of humor, and lets the First Amendment reign supreme.  Make your arguments, but because most of the commenters are well educated and skilled in argument, better not go off the rails or your ass will be handed to you in the original Greek, the later Latin, with a little Locke and Paine thrown in for good measure.

    •  Yes, but they tend to be short-lived. n/t (0+ / 0-)

is as close as I've seen. It is a western Washington liberal blog that came into existence when there was a state initiative (WA Initiative 831) to name Tim Eyman a Horse's Ass. There seems to be no moderation of comments, but only the staff writes diaries. There are open threads.
