Have wanted to meet Ben Franklin all my life, and ye gods, Alexander Hamilton was handsome!

Cheers to one of the best poems I've ever read!  I particularly loved this part:

...lips puckered and swollen from suckling at the teat of socialism.
Cheers to the unexpectedly warm day here in Northern Virginia!  It's 52 F. at 10 a.m.--yay!

Jeers to yesterday's ice storm that caused my Circle sister's son to slip on the ice, break his leg, and have surgery twice in one week, yesterday and this coming Thursday.

Jeers to the nasty winter cold that has gripped our boy Monty.  I didn't know beagles could get colds.  The earliest doctor appointment I could get was tomorrow, but he seems quite lively apart from the coughing and sneezing.  Daddy is taking him for a walk this warmish morning.

Cheers to the blue sky and sunshine that's chasing away the grayness of yesterday!  Everyone have a good day today!
