    You see, then, where I'm going with this. If a state's government wants to have the majority of the citizens very upset about the most visible election held, the Constitution does allow that. But it is very short-term thinking.

    Economics is a social *science*. Can we base future economic decisions on math?

      In the end, I would summarize my point as being, most people are approaching this ability to manipulate the Electoral College as a technical defect, whereas to me, it seems like a clearly-designed feature. Whether you see it as one way or the other probably strongly indicates where you would fall on abolishing the EC or not.
